She is cool. She is young. She is incredibly beautiful. She is sexy as hell. She can't model bras, so she'll just drop the top, thank you very much. She is not in rehab, in fact she doesn't smoke. She doesn't drink. She doesn't have friends in high places. She has, in the words of Vogue UK editor, "skin-kissing shapes and an air of nonchalance", like she couldn't care less if you love her. She is Jessica Miller, this humble weblog's humble choice for Model of the Year.

Jessica Miller was supposed to be the new Kate Moss. Calvin Klein fired her, thinking she'll drown without him, but her actions sky-rocketed since them in all major magazines, and it might as well be that Kate will soon be called the former Jessica Miller. Corinne Day, the photographer who discovered Kate, portrays Jessica in the January issue of Vogue UK. Let her pictures tell her story:

I like the contrast between the subtility of the photograph and the boldness of the pose and the styling. Possibly the best pic of Jessica ever.

Jessica is everywhere this month, so here are some more. First of all here she is in Numero of December, portrayed as a clubber from hell by Miles Aldridge. The pics were taken in a 70s-like toilets room (subject of the issue is "Disco"). I don''t like them much, but they are kind of interesting:

Last month Numero had yet-another-Jessica-feature, photographed by Patrick Demarchelier. It was called "Angels", a reference to the Hell Angels I suppose, because the models were taken on a motorcycle. So how about Jessica nude on a Harley Davidson? She's even sexier than Lady Godiva!
