The never-ending story

From THE MIRROR
Ulrika Jonsson came under pressure to explain her rape allegations last night after pictures were published of her apparently sharing a cosy TV chat with sacked presenter John Leslie.

Ulrika, who claimed she "blanked" her attacker after the alleged incident, seems fully at ease with Leslie in a sequence filmed five years later.

She appears almost flirtatious in the shots taken from a recording for Channel 4's Big Breakfast show in 1993 - despite claiming in her autobiography that she ignored the presenter and held him in "total disdain" after the attack.

Sources close to Leslie last night seized on the footage as evidence which may clear his name.

A spokesman said: "His lawyers believe the date of the interview is very significant in the light of the allegations."

The images show Ulrika sitting face to face with Leslie on a sofa as she smiles and introduces the former Blue Peter presenter.

The body language between the pair appears warm and friendly. Ulrika smiles and laughs throughout.

She describes Leslie as a "pin-up" and jokes that she will "not sleep tonight" because he is quitting Blue Peter.

She teases him about his relationship with Catherine Zeta Jones and asks: "Is it all over?" Leslie admits it is. She responds sympathetically: "Did it sort of upset you, all the press and publicity?"

She then asks if he has found someone else. He replies: "Can't say. But no, there isn't."

Ulrika ends the interview by saying: "So you've got no girlfriend and you're leaving your job. It sounds very depressing."

Ulrika, 35, claims she was raped in a hotel room as she was training to be a TV-am weathergirl.

She has refused to name her alleged attacker but Leslie was identified as the man at the centre of the scandal on live TV by Channel 5 presenter Matthew Wright.

Police are now investigating allegations by several other women against Leslie - axed from his £250,000 job on This Morning last week.

Ulrika remained silent yesterday over her behaviour in the interview.

A spokesman said it was merely down to her "professionalism".

Last night it was revealed that Leslie fled his £1.5million London home when the scandal broke to stay with with girlfriend Abby Titmuss at the nursing home where she works.

Abby, 25, sneaked him past security and up to her room at the central London building after he asked her to shelter him from reporters.

"He stayed at least one or two nights," said one of Abby's friends. "She really loves him but I'm not sure she means as much to him."

It's a bust!

It's eva!
So, Eva is the clear winner with 28% - and of course, she was the poll model of the house in the last three days, from one of her earliest editorials (Vogue UK). So, since there can't be enough nude pictures of her, here we go:

The first US editorial was in New York Magazine "Fall Fashion Issue", with Michael O'Neill as photographer. It is an amusing homage to the pin-up posters for the US Airforce in WW2. Here you go:

Then, in the end of 1994, the Wonderbra folly began. Eva did a lot of editorials to promote the bra. Some are quite known, but never had proper scans. First came the Ken Nahum pic (there were three, all for GQ UK, but this is the best). Then came Ellen Von Unwerth for Glamour France, the first session of a long series, but the pics are so light and the paper so thin I could save only this one (as most models VonUnwerth photographed, Eva is pictured as a cheap whore).

A year later, master Antoine Verglas came along. His portfolio ran first in GQ UK (the conservative pics), then in GQ Italia (the nudes). I think it never was published in the US. Here you go:

I also have several interesting pictures of Eva in "real life", mostly in her Monaco home or in her favorite spot, the nudist beach of Saint Tropez. In some she accepted to pose, like in this ELLE portrait, or this Paris Match feature, or of course this ELLE snapshot, and some were done by paparazzi pics, like this one.

I know we are (OK, OK: I am) mostly interested in her "sexy" pics, but I'd really like to show you now a Peter Lindbergh catalogue for Italy's Ruffo. I generally don't like Lindbergh, but here he really capted Eva and her husband in a unique way. He certainly look much better in those pics than in all other I had seen of him, so I wish Lindbergh would photograph me (with Eva if possible). It was the first time in a long period a photographer concentrated in Eva's legs and not her breasts, and the results are really cool:

In recent months Eva has done a lot of nude editorials, but most are dark/arty/ugly. I think I have posted or linked to all of them, nevertheless. Maybe I forgot the Sean Ellis editorial for Numero, here you go:

And of course:

Von Unwerth did several sessions with Eva (you probably remember this cute pic). then she returned with Eva to her hometown for Vogue Italia, managing to shot her as a whore even in front of her family. The only good pic from the editorial is this one, Russel's style, but you may like this one as well, which is very popular with newsgroups, so I scanned it at a higher resolution. Last month Dennis Hopper shoot Eva for Vogue France, but it's really a disaster, she looks short and almost ugly. Terry Richardson shot her for the same magazine a month later, re-casting her as the wonderbra girl in a banal portfolio. But there's a making-of double spread at the end of the magazine, and the pics there are much better.

The last word about Eva goes to Paris Match for this double treat.

And now, what about our mysterious poll girl? I have surrender to the general opinion (see comments below, some quite abrupt) that the model in Tim Walker editorial from Vogue UK is Annie Morton and not Eva. You can judge by yourself now, the scans are here:

I was a little disappointed by the results of the poll - hoped to a Delphine Baford victory - but Eva is charming, no doubt about it. see you on December 1 for another poll.
