While the "serious" fashionatas are flocking from London to NYC today, Madrid is desperatly trying to get some attention. But is this the right way? Newcomer David Delfin closed the Madrid Fashion Week yesterday with a "Taliban" collection, aimed to protest against treatment of women in Afghanistan. Some models were hurt when protesters invaded the runway; others fall because they couldn't see thru the strange outfits on their heads. The organisers announced Delfin will not be invited next year.
