HOLLYWOOD -- There are no X-rated rides at Disneyland.
Rebecca Romijn-Stamos is distraught a misquote has made headlines around the world.
Romijn-Stamos was quoted as saying she and hubby John Stamos had sex on one of the Disneyland rides.
"I was devastated when I read that article. It's not what I said. I feel I have to apologize to the people at Disneyland. They've been so good to John and it's one of our favourite places to visit," says Romijn-Stamos.
"I want to make it very clear that when we're in Disneyland, John and I ride the rides next to each other and not on top of each other.
"When we visit Disneyland we stay at one of the Disneyland hotels. John and I are a very amorous couple, so that's what I meant when I said we've had sex at Disneyland."
Romijn-Stamos is currently in Vancouver filming X-Men 2, which as reported earlier in the Sun, will move to the Calgary-area for a week-long shoot next month.
Before she flew to Los Angeles to promote her sexy thriller Femme Fatale, which opens Nov. 8, she attended a special press conference in Vancouver for X-Men 2.
"It was hilarious. There were 12 of us up there on a podium with (director) Bryan Singer, but we weren't allowed to answer any specific questions.
"We'd been sworn to secrecy on plot points and character development."
Romijn-Stamos, who plays Mystique, says she will be happy when the shoot ends as it takes as long as eight hours each day to apply her blue body make up.
Though there have been whispers of a second X-Men sequel, Romijn-Stamos says she has "not been signed any further than this. I'm excited that I have a more expanded role in X-men 2, but I don't think I'd like to go through this makeup thing yet again."
