There is and will ever be only one Linda in modelling (it's really a wonder a young model like Linda V. hasn't changed her name). But Linda Evangelista's new campaign with Versace leaves you wondering if this kind of "standard" appearances isn't ruining the myth.

I'm not saying Linda looks ugly, she doesn't and probably never will. But this arty "gloom look" may look interesting on a young model like Sharon Genish; on Linda and Amber, the two stars of the campaign, it looks, well, gloomy.

The overexposure (a breast partially uncovered, lot of legs) should soften up the styling, but it doesn't. The lighting is bad. The hairdo is horrible. Linda must reinvent herself before she'll be referred to as Linda E.
