Aurelie Claudel is the star of the new issue of Elle France - her portfolio, by photographer Anne Menke, fills more than 30 pages.

The first part, "Ma cavalcade au Canada", brings Aurelie back to her birthplace. The pics are really cute and the scenary is incredibly beautiful. This is why the second part, a Beauty feature, really disappointed me. The lighting is horrible, Aurelie looks banal, almost plain. It seems to me Menke is very good in natural surroundings, but she isn't a pro in a studio. Or is it the fault of the fashion editor?
