Kate Moss flooded her country cottage, causing damage worth thousands of pounds, when she forgot to order oil for her heating.

The new mum, her boyfriend Jefferson Hack and their daughter Lila Grace were on holiday in Thailand when disaster struck.

They returned from the resort of Phuket to find the heating had stopped and a frozen pipe had burst.

My source said: “The heating packed up when the fuel ran out so all the pipes froze.

“When they thawed out one burst, flooded the house and caused a right old mess.”

Kate and Jefferson have rented the three-bedroom cottage in Lechlade, Gloucs, since September but they now want to buy it.
