Celine Dion advertising campaign shot in Montreal - Renowned photographers Mert & Marcus take photographs for fragrance launch
TORONTO, Oct. 3 /CNW/ - Canadian songstress and diva Celine Dion recently visited Montreal to shoot the advertising campaign for her upcoming fragrance.
The fragrance is scheduled to launch in spring 2003. Internationally acclaimed photography duo Mert & Marcus photographed the advertising campaign in downtown Montreal in late September.
Mert & Marcus includes Mert Alas of Turkey and Marcus Piggot of Wales,
who are renowned for their cutting-edge fashion and design-forward photography for both editorial and print advertising campaigns. They met in 1994 and, through their mutual love of art and photography, started collaborating taking photographs. First spotted by the international style magazine Dazed and Confused, their work has since become synonymous with some of the most innovative and striking photography seen in recent years.
With a demonstrated eye for style and sophistication, Mert & Marcus are a natural fit for the advertising campaign focusing on the elegant and
distinguished Celine Dion.

Naomi "no problema" Campbell speaks

Naomi 'seeing clearly'
HERAKD SUN
British supermodel and fashion icon Naomi Campbell says she sees the "world with clearer eyes" after beating her drug addiction.

The 32-year-old top model, whose addiction was outed by a tabloid photographer in February 2001 when he caught her on film leaving a drug rehabilitation meeting, told the weekly Welt am Sonntag that Narcotics Anonymous (NA) had helped to save her.
"I am happy with myself and I don't think as much anymore about other people," she said, adding: "I'm going to concentrate more on myself and on my life."

One of fashion's more famous faces, Campbell told the weekly she felt too young to settle down and have a family. "I am not yet mature enough. I am not a planner. I live day by day," she said.

Last March Campbell won a landmark privacy suit in a British court against the newspaper that published the NA photos of her. A High Court judge ruled Campbell had been entitled to privacy at her drug counselling meetings and found that the tabloid Mirror had caused her "significant distress".

The model, one of the first black women to grace the covers of top fashion magazines, said she was living alone after a separation from the Renault Formula One boss Flavio Briatore.

But, she assured the paper, she remained friendly with the Italian, adding: "We have no problems."
