Cupid's arrow seems to be completely missing the men Elizabeth Hurley is aiming for.

The svelte new mum recently sent George Clooney a fax. "It's right what they say," la Hurley proclaimed, "you are the sexiest man alive. Love Liz xxx."

Sadly, George's personal assistant thought it was from Liz Taylor.

"George found himself replying to the wrong Liz," reveals his friend Tommy Hinckley.

"She told him: 'I couldn't possibly have dinner with you... you're too sexy and far too young.'"

You probably know by now that the television presenter claimed to be the man at the centre of Ulrika Jonsson's rape allegations is ITV presenter John Leslie, former boyfriend of Catherine Zeta Jones (pic above). And if you didn't know, well, it seems at least one humble weblog has helped you a bit.

UK newspapers have been awash with coverage of the affair since Jonathan Ross claimed during a TV interview with Jonsson last Friday that the man concerned was a "TV presenter" who had forced himself on other women.

But for me, the most interesting development in the Ulrika story is her court order banning ex-lover Stan Collymore from selling an explicit video of the pair having sex.

The former football star was told he cannot sell video footage, stills or photographs showing Ulrika Jonsson naked or having sex with him and must hand over all his material to her lawyers.

The video, said to have been made on holiday in Jamaica, shows scenes of the two making love.

Former Liverpool striker Collymore, whom Jonsson dumped after he beat her up in a Paris bar during the 1998 World Cup, was said to have offered the video for sale.

His lawyer, Jonathan Crystal, was reported to be seeking offers for the explicit footage.
