Supermodels Are Lonelier Than You Think!

Jalouse in November

Jalouse, the thinking person's Numero, has the strangest cover I've seen in years for its November issue. The model is Aiste, she is photographed in extreme close-up, and then a thick red plastic cover was added to the magazine. Even the logo can't be seen - talk about courageous marketing decisions. If you remove the red cover -- I haven't yet for my copy, buti've ruined another one at the store -- you can see a colorful studio make-up on Aiste's face.

The issue itself was quite a disappoinment to me, there is one real fashion ed (I will talk about it later) and the rest is beauty etc. ELLE France is also all about beauty products this week. I hope all these people are busy preparing a wonderful December issue.

A nice perk in Jalouse: a bookmark (a real one) by Dior, with a photo of Liberty Ross. Certainly helps you to read more.

Bad Things Will Happen to Whom Marry Supermodels

I'm depressed, says Bosnich
By BRUCE WILSON HERALD SUN

Mark Bosnich, the Australia goalkeeper whose career has become the stuff of a soap opera, was last night in the depression unit of an unnamed British "medical facility" where he may be for some time.

His management company said Bosnich was suffering from severe clinical depression. This followed reports at the weekend he had tested positive for cocaine.

And so another strange page was entered in the biography of this gifted player who now does not play senior soccer and earns $120,000 a week from Chelsea for not doing so.

He has not played a competitive first-team match for almost a year. He was sidelined by a thigh injury and has never been able to win back his place in the London club's first team.

A statement released by the 30-year-old's management company, SEM, read: "Mark Bosnich has been diagnosed as suffering from severe clinical depression.

"On medical advice he was today admitted to a depression unit of a medical facility to obtain treatment for that depression".

Bosnich, if the test is confirmed, would be the highest-profile English FA player to test positive. Already the positive test has added to a long, troublesome and troubled series of brushes with authority for the Australian.

Greatly liked by many, but seen as a noisy nuisance by others, Bosnich notoriously was arrested after an incident at a lap-dancing nightclub on the eve of his wedding and second marriage to model Sarah Jarrett three years ago.

Bosnich and Jarrett have since split up and he now lives with model girlfriend Sophie Anderton, who has a history of drug abuse.

His future, as he takes anti-depressant treatment in a secret hospital, looks more and more uncertain.
