Haggard and badly bruised, one-time sex goddess Jane Fonda tries to hide the scars of her latest bout of painful plastic surgery. It's hard to believe this is the movie queen who whipped thousands of men into a frenzy as flesh-flashing sci-fi babe Barbarella—or the work-out guru who made millions preaching "exercise not surgery" to women longing for eternal youth. "An incision is made below the brow bone and a small piece of skin is removed to make the eyes more open and wider. It takes about 15 minutes and costs about £2,000." ... Link

Elle UK was the first out this year, November 7 (!). This is Vogue Australia, with a stunning portrait of Delphine Bafort. Next in line are the US mags, French and Italians will be out last, around November 25. In December, not even one major magazine will appear, and this is why they call it the dry season. January mags are usually very thin, since advertisers believe people don't have any money left to spend. ... Link ... Next page
