Model/actress Sadie Frost is being treated in an exclusive clinic after a suicide scare, The Sun can reveal.

The British actress is suffering from “severe” post natal depression and has checked into London’s £1,000-a-night Cromwell Hospital.

Worried hubby, Hollywood star Jude Law, has flown home from America to be at her side.

Jude dashed back days after Sadie, 37, returned from Los Angeles where she had marked her arms in a “cry for help”.

Speaking for the first time about the state of the couple’s relationship, Jude admitted he and Sadie — whose fourth baby Rudy was born five weeks premature in September — had problems.

But he vowed to do everything in his power to save their five-year marriage.

The Talented Mr Ripley star, 30, opened his heart as speculation mounted about the couple.

Speaking via his publicist Simon Halls, Jude said: “When Sadie arrived back in England at the weekend she went straight into a clinic.

“She has been suffering a severe bout of post-natal depression. Her treatment does not involve taking drugs — just seeing doctors, talking and recuperating. She is there because she is feeling very blue.”

Jude added: “This depression can be a serious thing and it has left Sadie feeling very sad and run down and she is just trying to get a handle on it.

“She has had so much on her plate recently and realises she needs help and to catch her breath. Not only does she have to look after four children — including a baby — she runs a successful business and has been overseeing the refurbishment of our new house.”

Mr Halls said: “I never know how she has been in a position to balance her busy life.

“But I have spoken to her in the last few days and she seems fine and is very upbeat about beating the post-natal depression.

“Sadie will be in the clinic for a couple of days more and it is doing her the power of good. Her stay there is already paying dividends.”

He added: “Jude is looking after their children. He is so worried Sadie is not well and wanted to be close to her.”

Mr Halls played down reports of Sadie’s suicide bid — after she checked into a hospital in Los Angeles last week.

But pals maintain she scratched her arms in a “cry for help”.

The friends say the couple’s marriage is in crisis and that is the reason she marked her arm.

But Jude told Mr Halls that they were going to do everything in their power to make it work.

He said: “Jude has told me they are a long-term committed couple although he admitted there have been ups and downs. The strain of the depression has made things a bit tough.

“But the marriage is strong. They have just bought a big new family home and are looking forward to moving into it.”

Jude — who has bought a £2million property in North London — hopes a film the couple are due to start working on will bring them closer together.

They are set to shoot World of Tomorrow, which Sadie will produce — and Jude and Gwyneth Paltrow will star in.

Mr Halls — of Huvane Baum Halls PR agency which also looks after Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman — said: “Working on this film will give them more time together.

“By that time Sadie will be fully recovered. They are looking forward to working together.”

Jude and Dracula star Sadie have three children together — Rafferty, seven, Iris, two, and four-month-old Rudy.

Sadie also has a 12-year-old son, Finlay, from her marriage to Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp.

Rudy weighed just 5lbs 5ozs when he was born in September — following a year where the couple hardly spent any time together due to Jude’s film commitments.

Pals said the couple were forced to conduct just a “telephone relationship”.

At the time of the birth, Jude was in the US filming Cold Mountain, with Nicole Kidman and Renée Zellweger. He rushed from the set and flew home.

The following month their daughter Iris went to hospital after eating part of an ecstasy tablet she found on the floor at a kids party in a West End club.

The drama shook the couple but Iris was given the all clear after tests.

Jude was away in Romania, on the set of Cold Mountain.

Millionaire' Finalist Said Bondage Star

NEW YORK - One of the three finalists in Fox's hit "Joe Millionaire" has starred in dozens of bondage and fetish films under a pseudonym, a Web site reported Wednesday.

Sarah Kozer, 29, starred in movies such as "Novices in Knots" and "Hogtied," and a foot-fetish film "Dirty Soled Dolls," according to the Web site The Smoking Gun.

The site said Kozer was clothed in her movie appearances, which included being gagged and hog-tied in a cheerleader's uniform. She also ties up other characters.

Kozer, one of a trio of women still hoping to land "Joe Millionaire" Evan Marriott in the Fox series, was shown this week sneaking off into the darkness for a tryst with him.

The series drew more than 20 million viewers on Monday, its biggest audience yet. Fox wouldn't say if it knew about Kozer's past before casting her.

"We don't comment on the personal lives of the contestants," network spokesman Scott Grogin said.

There was no answer to a telephone call to Kozer's Los Angeles home on Wednesday. The Smoking Gun said she wouldn't comment when reached by its reporter.

Kozer's occupation is described as "sales and design" on Fox's Web site.

There's no mention of her acting jobs, under the name Cindy Schubert, in Fox's brief bio. When asked "what is the wildest thing you've ever done?", she said there was a long list but picked backpacking in Morocco.

"Most of my `wild' things involve adventure and romance," she said.
