Rue de Seine again

I got a lot of letters yesterday, following my post about Giselle walking in my street. You have to realize that Paris is not only invaded by tourists, but also by amateur cinematographers and photographers, so when I see a production team I don't even stop to check whom are they going to shoot. Mostly, he/she woud be an arts student anyway.

But sometimes she will be a model. There are a lot of shoots for fashion magazines here, especially where I leave, in the 6th. Veronique, a regular visitor to this humble weblog, doesn't live in Paris much to her regret, but she is kind of Paris-obsessed. She collects all fashion eds photographed in Paris, and she already has more than 400!

She sent me the pic above, from Vogue UK: Amber Valetta photographed by Nathaniel Goldberg - in rue de Seine again. This one was stagged in the upper side of the street, closer to Odeon. She also has a pic of Kristen Mcmenamy on the other side of the street, where Giselle was photographed, by Jurgen Teller from Vogue US. I definitely should wake up earler!

8 teens linked to taping of sex acts
Sussex prosecutor says no force used on female victim, 15, who was drunk at house party
BY JIM LOCKWOOD Star-Ledger Staff

Eight Sussex County teenagers have been charged in connection with videotaping a 15-year-old girl while she was drunk and engaged in sexual acts at a house party in Branchville, authorities said.

The eight defendants include three boys, four young men and one girl.

The men are Wantage residents Andrew Wilson, 19, and Steven Wilson, 18, who are brothers, and Michael Wilson, who is not related to them, and Robert Birdsall, 18, of Lafayette, the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office said.

The men were charged with a second-degree offense of endangering the welfare of a child and consuming alcoholic beverages on private property without the owner's consent, authorities said.

The juveniles -- three 17-year-old Wantage boys and a 16-year-old Hampton Township girl -- each were charged with delinquency for their involvement in the incident, which took place Nov. 7.

The victim also is from Hampton.

Sussex County First Assistant Prosecutor Jared McDavit declined to say how each teenager was involved.

There were no parents home at the time of the party, and there was no force or coercion used against the victim by the defendants, McDavit said. The victim also was not physically injured, he said.

The videotape was not believed to have been reproduced or distributed. It's running length of time was described as being of "significant duration," McDavit said.

Most of the teenagers are students at High Point Regional High School in Wantage, and the incident came to light when school officials learned about it and contacted the New Jersey State Police, McDavit said.

Soon after the incident, some students overheard comments about it and reported it to school administrators, said High Point Regional High School Superintendent John Hannum.

"As soon as we got wind of the incident, that it occurred, we turned it over to the State Police," Hannum said.

Officials of the grades 9-12 High Point Regional district, which encompasses Sussex Borough, Wantage, Branchville, Frankford and Lafayette, also will review whether any school disciplinary actions may apply, Hannum said.

The school was closed Nov. 7 due a New Jersey Education Association convention in Atlantic City.

The victim attends Kittatinny Regional High School in Hampton, as does the juvenile girl who was charged.

Andrew Wilson is a former High Point Regional student who currently attends Sussex County Community College in Newton, authorities said.

The youths were arrested Dec. 20, and the prosecutor's office released information about the incident on Monday.

The Wilsons and Birdsall each were released on $25,000 bail, with conditions of having no contact with the victim or co-defendants or their families.

Andrew and Steven Wilson and Birdsall could not be reached for comment.

Contacted by telephone, Michael Wilson and a parent of Birdsall both declined to comment.
