Claudia Schiffer and husband Matthew Vaughn have named their new son Caspar Matthew De Vere Drummond.

A spokeswoman for the celebrity couple said she didn't know if there was any family significance to the name Caspar. Maybe they're just big fans of Casper the friendly ghost.

Caspar, who weighed 7lb at birth last Thursday, inherits part of his name from Matthew's father George De Vere Drummond. Film producer Matthew, 31, says: "Caspar looks great - a fantastic little chap."
